Michael Leontini Interiors has over 40 years of experience in all aspects of plastering and special finishes in Australia and abroad. Following in the tradition of Italian excellence in art and craftsmanship, Michael Leontini Interiors creates beauty and elegance in public buildings, commercial properties, and private homes.
With a passion for the arts, Michael has worked on exquisite restoration projects for buildings, churches, monasteries and statues in Australia, Italy, Israel and Sweden. He is skilled in fixing pre-cast cornices, panel mouldings, and other plaster fittings, and has even created unique sculptures to adorn internal and external spaces.
Over the years, Michael has taken part in several courses in Australia and Italy to enhance his skills and provide clients with innovative solutions for walls, ceilings, floors, and other indoor and outdoor surfaces.
After his early career in solid plastering, gypsum plastering, and waterproof plastering, Michael shifted towards the more decorative aspects of the trade, drawing inspiration from the look of Italian marble, travertine, granite, and plaster. Over the past 15 years, he has specialized in the application of special finishes and decorative textured finishes, including acrylic stucco, micro-cement, Marmorino, Venetian Plaster, Intonachino, Travertine, and Scagliola. He now applies his expertise to deliver training courses in the application of special finishes.
Meticulous in all stages of his work, from preparing surfaces to tinting, product application, and polishing, Michael will not give up until he achieves the flawless, sleek finish that is the hallmark of exceptional quality and a solid reputation.
